Preschool Family Picnic

Malachi recently finished his first year of preschool (well...not a full year, but almost). We're so proud of his achievements and we look forward to seeing his future accomplishments as well! Towards the end of the year, his preschool hosted a family picnic where all the kids were recognized. Here's a few pictures. Malachi showing his certificate for "class participation and using bigger sentences".
Shaking hands and recieving his certificate from his teacher.

Madelynn and Aiden enjoying playing on the playground at Malachi's school.
Malachi will continue to go to his ISD preschool next year as well, but he'll move to the afternoon class which is reserved for the older children who will be entering kindergarten the next year. We absolutely LOVE the school and his teachers. They've helped our son so much that words can not even describe our appreciation.

In June we kicked off the summer with a trip to the Toledo Zoo with some of my multiples group mom friends. There were 5 moms there with their kids. One mom has quads (plus a friend), two had triplets plus 2, one had triplets plus one, and then us. We were quite the show with our quad and triplet strollers and choo choo wagon! We also ended up seeing another set of triplets there in a choo choo wagon (we've actually talked to them before in pasts trips). My little climbers!
He is so handsome!

Busy Bees!

Group shot: one set of triplets plus 2 are missing from the picture.
Total for the day...7 adults and 22 children ranging from 2 months to 13 years.

My kids are still not as big as Louie was when he was a baby!

We had a great day and can't wait until August to see all of our multiples friends again at our annual picnic!

A Trip to the Local Library

This summer I decided to enroll the kids in the summer reading program at our local library. The children's librarian is amazing and I wanted the kids to experience her storytelling. Here are a few pictures from one of our trips there. They have lots of fun things for the kids to do in addition to finding and checking out new books. Madelynn putting a puzzle together.

Family Bowling Night

Back in May, my school had its first family bowling night. We decided to take the kids over and try it out. We weren't sure that they could get the ball down the lane, but we practiced on the Wii so we were feeling hopeful. They actually did okay, but we did have to help provide a little 'umph' behind their balls so they'd make it all the way to the pins. Madelynn very excited!
Aiden anticipating his split pick up!

Malachi have a great time!

And for the results...because thats really what you want to know. Did the kids beat mommy and daddy?!?!?
