The kids' room hasn't been painted since we were preparing the nursery. Slowly things came down off the walls because the kids pulled or knocked them off while jumping in their cribs. For a few months the walls have been bare. I decided I was going to paint their room just before their forth birthday so it was more of a 'big kid' room rather than a nursery. We chose a bright blue color! Then we created 'big kid' artwork for the walls. I bought 6 8x10 canvases and the kids each painted one and did a hand print on the other. They are all hanging on the wall and look beautiful!
