Cows in Muskegons

This past Saturday we drove all the way to Muskegon for our cousin's open house. It was another long trip, but the kids did so well only needing to stop once each way. The kids played with bubbles from a bubble machine, ladder ball, and they were very intrigued by the pool. Malachi even tried, and nearly succeeded, to climb the side of it twice. The kids seemed to most enjoy this little calf statue in the back of the yard. Each one took their turn climbing up on it and of course I had to snap a few pictures. We had a great time and it was so wonderful to see family that we hadn't seen in awhile. It was also fun to experience that "Oh my gosh are those triplets?" remark from some people we didn't even know. It cracks me up when people say that and we don't get it much around our town any more because people see us so frequently. We look forward to heading back to Muskegon in July for the family reunion.

Lastly, this is what happens on Sunday after you don't get home until nearly midnight on Saturday. Daddy and Maddie enjoyed a Sunday afternoon nap on the couch. It was so cure, I just couldn't resist the picture. Please also note that the sunglasses that Josh is wearing belong to the kids. :)
